Definition
The vertical entry unloader is a device that directly receives PCB boards from the end of the production line. Its board collecting direction is consistent with the transmission direction of the production line and runs in a straight line. This device neatly collects PCB boards that have passed the production process into a rack or box and is usually used at the end of a linear production line.
The side entry unloader receives PCB boards from the side of the production line. Its board receiving direction is perpendicular to the transmission direction of the production line or at a certain angle. This device is suitable for scenarios where the board receiving position needs to be flexibly adjusted or space is limited.

Difference
1. Board feeding direction
- Vertical Entry Unloader:
PCB boards are directly output to racks or boxes according to the transmission direction of the production line, and the board output path is consistent with this direction.
- Side Entry Unloader:
The PCB board is rotated out from the side of the transmission direction of the production line to the material rack or material box, and the board output direction is perpendicular to the transmission direction or at a certain angle.
2. Equipment layout
- Vertical Entry Unloader:
It is suitable for the end of a linear production line, usually connected in a straight line with the front-end equipment, and occupies a relatively larger space.
- Side Entry Unloader:
It is often used at the end of a production line or in scenarios requiring a compact layout. It is especially suitable for corner or L-shaped production lines to save floor space.
3. Applicable scenarios
- Vertical Entry Unloader:
Applicable to scenarios with ample space and a linear production line, especially widely used in standardized mass production.
- Side Entry Unloader:
More suitable for factory workshops with small space at the end of the production line, corner design, or special layout, with greater flexibility.
4. Selection basis
- Space conditions: When the production line has ample space, the straight-in type is recommended; when the space is small or there are corners, the side-in type is more reasonable.
